Working with the education manager to identify current gaps in their professional development programme and establish how to evaluate their funded programme. Advised on what recurring needs creative practitioners face (given my knowledge, skills and experience of working with this group), and advised on best practice to access research. Additionally advised on the effective research methods to help access information from members. Mixed research methods carried out by client and me, with collaborative dissemination of data with client. The project involved research, design and delivery of a series of workshops about 'online engagement' for CPA members, running from venues in Birmingham, Bristol, Brighton, and Sheffield.Regular assessment and observation of students and venue provider, using a mix of traditional research methods and creative thinking techniques to retrieve feedback.
"Abbi ran a series of workshops for Craft Potters Association. These 'Enhance Your online Presence' full day workshops were very well received by our members who have varying degrees of experience with online marketing and social media. Everyone left with an action plan. Abbi is professional, well-informed and flexible. This allowed her to create and develop a programme that addressed the needs of our members. I would be more then happy to use her again." Jo Aylmer, Education Manager at Craft Potters Association
