An essential skill in business is listening. Listening to yourself and what you want to put into and get out of it so you are clear with your own boundaries. Listening to your colleagues, your audience, and your customers is essential to help understand their needs and respond appropriately. Create the right space to listen effectively. Set time aside to know your needs and set your boundaries – check in with yourself. The same applies with colleagues, your audiences and customers; set time aside to research, ask questions, evaluate and respond.
